A SaaS product is a business machine wearing a software costume. The app your customers see is maybe half the work — the other half is billing, plans, trials, admin tooling and the plumbing that turns sign-ups into revenue.
We have launched subscription products of our own, which changes how we build yours. The web edition of Invoex runs free trials, premium and lifetime plans with Stripe and PayPal billing; our license APIs serve activation keys to desktop customers around the world. So when we scope your SaaS, the unglamorous essentials — dunning for failed payments, plan upgrades and downgrades, coupon codes, the admin panel where you will actually live — are on the list from day one, not discovered in month four.
Architecture decisions made in week one are the ones you live with for years, so we make them carefully: multi-tenancy designed into the first schema, role-based access from the first login screen, audit trails before anyone asks for compliance. Retrofitting any of these into a running product is possible but painful; we would rather you never find out how painful.
Infrastructure goes on your accounts — Azure, AWS or Vercel depending on the workload — with monitoring, backups and deploy pipelines configured before launch, not after the first incident. When you hand us the keys back, everything from the domain to the database is already yours.
SaaS is also the service where the maintenance relationship matters most, because a subscription product that stops improving starts churning. Many clients keep us on a monthly plan after launch for a quarterly feature roadmap; others take the documented codebase in-house. Both are fine — the handover is built for either.
Questions people ask us
Yes, and that completeness is the point. A SaaS is not launched when the customer-facing app works; it is launched when someone can sign up, pay, upgrade, get invoiced, reset a password and be helped by your support team through an admin panel. All of that is on the delivery checklist.
Stripe and PayPal are the workhorses and cover most markets, including subscription billing, trials and coupons. For customers in regions they serve poorly, we add regional processors. Our own products bill through Stripe and PayPal, so the integration patterns are proven, not theoretical.
A lean, revenue-ready first version typically starts in the mid four figures and scales with complexity — multi-tenancy, integrations and compliance add real work. We quote fixed milestones with escrow protection, so the design phase, core build and launch each have their own price and checklist.
Usually modest at the start: hosting for an early-stage SaaS often runs tens of dollars a month, growing with usage, plus payment-provider fees per transaction. We set everything up on your own cloud accounts with cost alerts, so you see and control every dirham or dollar from day one.
Yes, and we will help you choose between them honestly — trials convert better for business tools, freemium suits products that spread person-to-person. Our own Invoex web app runs a free trial with premium and lifetime tiers, so we have watched real numbers, not just read blog posts.
The architecture is built so growth is a hosting bill, not a rewrite: stateless application layers, indexed multi-tenant data, and background jobs for heavy work. From your first ten users to your first ten thousand, the codebase stays the same.
Yes — and it is a natural pairing for us, since our own products span web and desktop. A shared API can serve your web app, a Windows application and a mobile app, keeping data consistent everywhere your customers work.
